Ha ha! This one is from 2008! Winner of The Bishounen award at NDK08. 
Elf boy in a bamboo forest with butterflies... I imagine him to be a bit tall and rather ethereal.
Did he summon the butterflies? What would his magic be? Is he nobility? He probably has a bunch of secret admirers.
It's been SO long since I've drawn an elf. It's the fist time I've drawn bamboo and I like the way they turned out.
My scanner has cut a bit off this pic but that's what happens when your paper is 9x12.
Copic markers and liners, pastel dust and wee bit o' white gel pen all on marker paper.
Hmm... I think I'll try out this "Request Critique" with this piece. I just saw this option now...
