Hi everyone!

Ah! I just realized I never did post my 10K kiriban catchers! I'm so sorry! The winners ( yes I'm allowing 2 this time) were (CRCAWF) and ! I will get to your notes soon. Thank you so much for watching and catching that.

Everyone has been posting so many journals lately so I'm sorry If I haven't read or commented on them recently. I will get to them. I try to read everything you guys post at least. The same goes for your deviations. Giant backlog of lovely art from you guys to look at as well. I'll definitely look at them even if I don't get to commenting much.

Lately my weekends have been extra busy. Lots of going out with in-laws and friends. That's the fun of the holidays I think. Still job hunting of course. That's a given. Although I had a talk with some friends recently and they all agreed I should really try to turn my art into a real career. I wouldn't love anything more than to be able to do that. I honestly feel that I don't produce as much art and that I'm not as involved as I'd like to be with art because I'm constantly worrying about real life... job, bills, things of that nature. It really cuts into time I can spend on drawing and making jewelry. I think the majority of you will agree that artists love to keep really odd hours. I am happiest when I don't have to worry about getting up to go to work at a certain time so I can stay up and just keep drawing if I'm inspired.

So I'll think about this art as a career more. My friends and family seem to believe in me that I could make it work. The worst thing would be to disappoint them all. I know as an artist I'm still growing. I really don't think I've reached the ends of what I could do. And yes I admit that I have no self confidence on the whole. I am my worst critic. I realize this but it's hard not to be. I have a part of me that actually is confident that I can produce decent work. The rest of me... well like I said... I am my own worst critic.

Oh and YES I am doing this globally! It will just take longer than domestic.

It's that time of year again! Winter/Holiday time!

I was hoping to get to actually send cards to people this year. Crazy I know! Actually I'm thinking of sending at least a card and then.... random other things. So really you could get some jewelry made by me, a print, a laminated bookmark, something like a sketch, some original art... something! Since I want to do extra things, I'm going to say this is for the winter season and not necessarily just for the holidays.

So if you're interested please note, pm, email (sariochan @ gmail.com - take out spaces. ) or text me your addresses. Please send them to me again even if you've already done so before. I seem to lose addresses way too often. If you'd like my address please say so and I'll send it to you. I'd really like to contain this to my watchers here. Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

I must say that I am so very thankful that you're all here. Thanks for being all super fabulous. For those of you who celebrate this day, I hope you're spending it with family and friends and that you're going to stuff yourselves sill with delicious foods. We are!

We always make the mash potatoes to bring. All lovely and homemade... they're healthy too. This year... we've thrown in a twist. Now we usually make them as garlic mashed potatoes. Sometimes we will add dill etc. This year... they're purple! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yes, we used purple potatoes this time. I can't wait to see what people think. They're actually a very pretty lavender color.

So anyway, thanks to you all and I hope you all have a lovely day. I'm still playing catchup around here so expect some replies to old things.

Ugh! I'm soooo sorry I'm incredibly behind here! I'm not sure what happened to the last part of October and the beginning of November. It's not like I've been swamped at work since I'm still job hunting. Hmm... anyway, I'm really sorry for being terribly lax about replies and such. I'll get to them so expect some rather old responses.
